FIELD TRIPS
The Hosack PFA covers the cost of transportation and admission fees for the class field trips for all PFA members. You will be responsible for covering the actual cost of field trips if you chose not to join the PFA.
ENRICHMENT WHILE SCHOOL IS IN SESSION
PARTIES AND VOLUNTEERS
Homeroom parents facilitate three class parties, arrange for class gifts to the teacher, and find volunteers to help with classroom activities and assist with their grade-level staff appreciation event.
FIELD DAY
Near the end of the school year a day of games and activities allows the kids a chance to interact with their peers and have a blast.
YEARBOOK
What year would be complete without documenting it with pictures and tributes? The PFA puts together a Hosack Elementary School yearbook every year for sale in May.
THE CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
Every member of the faculty at Hosack Elementary Schools is provided a budget to purchase materials or services not covered by the school budget.
STAFF APPRECIATION
One day each month the PFA coordinates a lunch or event to express our gratitude for the work of our wonderful staff. Each grade is asked to participate during their "month".
WASTE FREE DAYS
Helping other kids in need and gaining a sense of giving, our kids are encouraged to donate any unopened non-perishable items to be donated to local food banks. Click here to volunteer!
